Laurie was born and raised in the verdant landscapes of the Green Mountains of Vermont. Her beginning of lifelong passion for creating art began when she was six years old after her grandmother gave her a set of Japanese watercolors.
Laurie has been a professional artist since her teens and has participated in many art shows, winning several awards in the junior divisions.
She has been running her own design and illustration studio for over 30 years, specializing in the horse industry. Her artistic inspirations are horses, animals, nature, art, and world cultures.
